With the 2 inch driver there are many to choose from, finding out the original impedance of the 2 inch will be necessary if you plan to keep the passive crossover. I have mcccauley thinking of those cabs too – only worried about how much amp rack I would need to run em.

With a little driver research and a good three way drive system I’m sure these would be good usable boxes. Add them to some subs for a high power four way nccauley.

I also got a response from McCauley, they didn’t have much info, other than the origional drivers: If original drivers are not to be found and or out of the question I would make them a three way active box. Hello While I’m not familiar with the McCauley boxs but hear are some general thoughts on reloading and refurbishing cabinets.

I don’t think he follows this forum but he does follow the LAB and has a thread in the Product Reviews for a sub shootout. The crossover was previously removed, and they’re wired with EP8s for active tri-amp.
